The USMNT star is linked to yet another Premier League club.
Manchester United are considering taking USMNT captain Christian Pulisic on loan from their Premier League rivals Chelsea, as first reported by The Athletic.
The 23-year-old has been frustrated with his lack of starts under Thomas “2-chains” Tuchel and wants to play more minutes ahead of the World Cup in Qatar this winter. A report in The Guardian even claims Tuchel doesn’t trust Pulisic.
The club are aware of the US star’s frustrations and are willing to listen to loan offers. Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Newcastle United have all been linked with a move for the player who cost them $70m in 2019 from Borrusia Dortmund.
Despite missing almost 10 games last season because of COVID and an ankle injury, Pulisic still managed to get back in the starting 11. He averages a goal every 159 minutes for Chelsea despite often playing out of position. England’s Mason Mount for comparison scores once every 192 minutes.
